1997 Isuzu Trooper

Matching the 178.9" over-all length is a 108.7" wheelbase for a more masculine
look and greater ground clearance. 1997 Isuzu Trooper is available in base S,
LS and Limited models. Standard equipments for all stainless steel exhaust, underbody
skid plates, front door map pockets, dual mirrors, dual air bags, rear window
defroster, tinted glass, power steering, power windows, door locks, child safety
rear door locks, wheel lip moldings, mud guards, rear step bumper, fender flares,
fuel tank, radiator and transfer case skid plates, rear under seat storage, cargo
cover and light.
Protection against corrosion is ensured by the nine-step paint process which
includes chemical bath and primer coating topped with a clear coat. The once optional
four-wheel antilock braking system is now standard for 1997. It provides easier
shifting specially on off-road travels.
In a recall conducted by NHTSA for 1997 Isuzu Troopers, damage in the left front
brake line could lead to fluid leakage, increased effectiveness of the brakes
and longer stopping distance. Good thing, the company have done something to correct
it.
