1993 Isuzu Trooper

Standard for S is the 3.2L 175 hp V6 engine while RS 2-door and LS comes with a 3.2L 190 hp V6 paired with the standard five-speed manual overdrive. The base S is equipped with a single cam version rated at 175 horsepower while LS use the twin cam version of the same engine rated at 190 horsepower. The two-door RS wagon is new for 1993.

Recalls conducted for 1993 Isuzu Trooper reveal defects in suspension and camshaft plug. Chattering of the car's differential produce unwanted noise which may require draining and refilling of oil together with a limited-slip additive. Disconnected camshaft plug and cylinder head may result to oil leakage leading to damage and fire.
